Guide
How to schedule Bluesky posts
Bluesky's app posts right away. Echoly lets you write ahead, pick a time and publish to Bluesky together with X, Mastodon and Telegram, using an app password so your main password stays private.
1. Create a free Echoly workspace
Sign in with your email; the first link creates the workspace. Add a brand for your project.
2. Create a Bluesky app password
In Bluesky, open Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords and add one named "Echoly". You can delete it there any time to cut Echoly off.
3. Connect your account
On your brand page, enter your handle (for example yourapp.bsky.social) and the app password under Bluesky, then press Connect. Never use your main password. Accounts on another server can change the server address.
4. Write and schedule
Write the post, add up to 4 images, tick Bluesky (and anything else it should go to), pick a time and approve.
Good to know
- Posts can be up to 300 characters, counted the way Bluesky counts them (an emoji counts as one). Images can be up to 1 MB each.
- Links become clickable in the post.
- Threads: put a line with only
---between the parts and Echoly publishes them as a chain of replies, up to 10 posts. - Bluesky doesn't charge per post, so Bluesky posts only count toward the plan's total: the Free plan includes 30 posts a month.
